i would suggest since your not very experianced stay with platform games such as mario and megaman as you get better move on to 2d rpg games such as ff1-5
The good old games like future fps with one was going to make like the first doom which is the only one games books and it think if you do dont do any rpg because there are way to it would remind me of the good old make game with some friends and 2d would be cool.
