Jason C asked:

When I was growing up I loved playing with my Atari 5200 and 7800. As I got older I did get an Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and PS1 and PS2. I currently only play my PS2 regularly. I still have an older Nintendo and the two Atari systems I have mentioned. I loved playing the Atari systems because the games were so much fun. When you walk in the good arcades these days, the older games are usually the most popular. Every system had something everyone liked about it and now I am asking what everyone thinks is the best system of all time!?!

Atari was first, lots of fond memories. Original Nintendo is the best, I still play it over my 360.
Legend of Zelda, Mario, Punch out. Genious.

I like the PS2 because it has so many more games than a DS or a GameCube. I mean…the Kingdom Hearts series and DDR can only be played on a PS2.

The coolest game I ever played never was very good on any console. I used to go to the 7-11 and play destroyer for hours, towards the end on one quarter, in fact a lot of the time I had to get home before my wife got truly mad and let a few of my warriors eat the bucket before going.

PS2. My brother played gran turismo 4 and did the 24 hour race. It really was 24 hours. The PS2 never over heated.

PS1 without a doubt is the best console of all time. It may not have the best graphics now but it still has the best games. Most of the new consoles and their games are giving us everything the ps1 had just with more polish. Where are the new inspirational games? There aren’t any. Gamers need new, innotative games and consoles. Not games rushed out to look good but also with playability. Where are the Spyro, Gex platforms that are synonamus with PS and the stratedgy games like panzer general, civilisation2, risk. These games caught u the new spyro was short and not very interesting, bomberman was just transfered from its original console.
Sorry I know I was on a rant. I feel very strong about it. I will leave you with a question. If all your consoles broke which would you miss the most? That one is the best of all time.

FF VII. Final Fantasy VII was the first game to create “breathing” characters. It had a great storyline! And the mini-games were so cool!
