I’ve got 400 points and I want to get a game. I’m stuck between Sonic(Fun and will last a while), Turtles(Was a huggggeee fan and last a long time) and Uno(very fun and addictive). Are there any I am leaving out or are there any 800 games i shud get that are really worth the extra 400 points? =)
Hi. I’m a game programmer thinking of making a fun casual/arcade type game. I’m not very experienced so I’m sticking to 2D but other than that I have no ideas of how the game will be. I was thinking the game could be online and/or physics based but I’m not sure. So does anyone have suggestions?
I know video games are mostly a guy thing but I see girls playing the modern games sometimes and was hoping to hear from some girls who like playing arcade games from the 80’s. If you didnt play arcades back then I guess NES games would count too. Which ones do you like playing and why? Why do you think games are mostly a guy thing?
I am going to take someone very special to me to San Francisco next weekend for my birthday they’ve never been. I grew up there, but kind of want to do something special / unique. I’ve got Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, Exploratorium, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, Union Square, Ruby Skye Club, Alcatraz, and you get the gist…I’ve even pondered a quick drive thru Castro District. LOL. So, this being my birthday, and this being his first-ever time to SF, any ideas on what to do? Going on a slightly limited budget (lame, I know)… but something that some mid-20s kids would like? Restaurants, arcades, etc? Thanks for any input!
Some kind of storyline is a must, i dont really like arcade games.
I just played Land of the Dead, which I loved for several reasons: although it was a FPS, it was not hard to find my way around, i did not ever get lost or not know where to go, i hate that in games like doom. I also love horror and blood and zombies. And of corse i love to blow stuff up!
I also love thinking games like Scratches, Phantasmagoria and Shivers.
I like to solve puzzles in games like The 7th Guest or The 11th Hour.
There used to be an old Sierra game called Dr. Brain and The Island of Dr. Brain, those were a blast.
Good graphics are not really importaint, although i dont want to feel like I am playing Atari! Horror is the best, but really im just looking for a fun game that me and my girlfriend can play while the baby is sleeping.
